took up the proposal in respect of verification of the caste certificate for consideration in the year 1996. However, since the petitioner did not lead evidence and did not participate in the enquiry, the caste certificate came to be invalidated. The petitioner has challenged the aforesaid decision belatedly after about 16 years. Even otherwise, on consideration of the merits of the contentions, we do not find any substance in the claim of the petitioner.
Writ Petition stands disposed of.
