The petitioner approached this Court for a direction to the respondent no.2-Municipal council for payment of the retiral benefits to him along with interest from the date of the retirement.

In the reply filed on behalf of the respondent no.2Municipal Council, claim of the petitioner is not disputed. It is further submitted that only on account of financial difficulties, the payment cannot be made. He seeks six month's time for making the payment.

In that view of the matter, the petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent no.2-Municipal Council to pay all the reitral benefits to the petitioner, as expeditiously as possible and in any case within a period of six months from today along with interest at the rate of 6% per annum from the date of retirement till the actual payment.
