2. Rule. By consent, Rule is made returnable forthwith.
3. The case of the petitioner is that he preferred an
application for furlough to the Superintendent, Kolhapur
Central Prison, Kalamba vide Inward No. 1242 of 2014 dated
06.02.2014. The grievance of the petitioner is that though
more than four months had passed, the said application was

not decided.
4. Learned APP has produced the jail chart which shows
that pursuant to the application for furlough which was received by Inward No. 1242 of 2014 on 6.2.2014, the petitioner was released on furlough from 16.6.2015 to 29.6.2015. In this view of the matter, this petition has
become infructuous, hence, the Rule is discharged.
