Exhibit 82. Exhibit 82 was an application made by the petitioner for calling record of the documents from the Superintendent of Police, Ahmednagar. As per the said application, the Investigating Officer had not carried out the investigation properly and, therefore, the petitioner had filed a number of applications before the Superintendent of Police and other Police authorities, which were necessary to be brought on record. While rejecting this application, the Magistrate, inter alia , observed that the charge sheet had been filed on 13-3-2006. That, charge had been framed on 4-8-2007. That, the matter was being adjourned from time to time for recording the evidence of the petitioner and these adjournments were being granted at his request. That, when further adjournments were not being granted, the said application (Exhibit 82) came to be filed. The Magistrate further observed that the petitioner was not sure as to which documents were required to be produced through the Superintendent of Police. The Magistrate categorically observed that, no details of the documents were mentioned in the application.
