By this petition, the petitioner-Society impugns the order of allotment of tank at Misalwadi in favour of the respondent no.4 for a period of five years.
Since the allotment of the tank was only for a period of five years from 1997 and this Court had not granted any interim relief in favour of the petitioner-Society, the cause for filing the writ petition has been rendered infructuous due to passage of time. Since the term of contract has expired, the writ petition needs to be disposed of.
The Writ petition is, therefore, disposed of as such with no order as to costs. Rule stands discharged.
