. The Petitioner is challenging the proceeding for acquisition of
landed property for construction of national highway The learned counsel appearing for the Respondent, on instructions, informs that a notification as contemplated under Section 3(A) was published on 14th January, 2013 declaring its intention to acquire the land. After hearing the objections as contemplated under Section 3(C), a notification for acquisition is published under Section 3(D)(1) on 23rd August, 2013. The declaration under Section 3(D) is final. The property under acquisition stands vested in the Central Government in view of SubSection (2) of Section 3(D). In view of above, the challenge raised in
the instant petition to the acquisition proceedings, does not deserve

consideration. The petition is devoid of substance and the same
stands rejected.
