was found by this Court that there was a ban on making the appointment of teaching and non-teaching staff in the schools and subsequently the said ban was lifted only in respect of appointment of teachers in the subjects of Science, Maths and English.

It is brought to the notice of this Court by the learned Assistant Government Pleader that the schools that had sought permission to appoint the teachers in the subjects of Science, Maths and English were granted permission for filling up the said posts. It is stated that the petitioner society was also granted permission to fill up two posts of teachers in those relevant subjects.

We do not find any illegality in the action of the respondents in declining permission to the petitioner society to fill up the posts of teaching and non-teaching staff. Since there is no merit in the writ petition, the same is dismissed, with no order as to costs.
