This is an application for bail as the applicant/accused is facing charges under sections 498A, 302, 323 r/w section 34 of the Indian Penal Code. The applicant/accused is the husband. He alongwith his brother, father and mother are the accused in this case for the death of Rohini, who died on 10.9.2013. It is the case of the prosecution that the deceased Rohini and the applicant/accused got married on 15.4.2012 at Arewadi Kavathemahankal, Sangli. After marriage, she started residing with the applicant. However, the applicant/accused and the co-accused started ill treating her. They used to abuse and assault her. She was harassed mentally and physically. There was also demand of money two months prior to the incident.

Learned Counsel for the applicant/accused submits that he be allowed to withdraw this application with directions that the matter be heard within a specified time limit.

After hearing the matter, the learned Counsel for the applicant sought liberty to withdraw the application.

Accordingly, the application is allowed to be withdrawn, however, with no liberty file any fresh application, except in the even the trial does not conclude within 8 months.
