assaulted him and left him away from the car. Thereafter, he went to the police station and gave information at Othur police station. However, the offence was committed at Shirur police station. It was found that the said truck was taken away alongwith the bundles of copper wires. Thereafter, the goods were removed and the truck was brought to the police station. It is the case of the prosecution that the police could arrest accused Nos.1 to 5 who had committed the offence and as per the case of the prosecution, till today, out of 8101.388 kg, 6855.918 kg copper wire was recovered. They want to recover copper wire of 1245.47 kg and for that purpose, the police are suspicious about accused No.8, who has received the stolen property.
