Considering the grievance of the petitioners that initially order of

status-quo was granted, which elapsed and the Authority who is supposed to hear the appeal did not make himself available for continuation of the interim relief, the appropriate course, in our opinion, is to dispose of this petition with direction to the Appellate Authority where the appeal filed by the petitioners against the decision of the Collector dated 24^th July, 2012 is pending, to decide the same expeditiously, in any case, not later than six weeks from today after giving opportunity to all concerned.

The order of status-quo which was granted earlier by the Appellate Authority shall be maintained by the parties in respect of the suit property and that arrangement shall be continued for a period of two weeks from the service of order on the concerned party who is aggrieved with the decision of the Appellate Authority to enable that party to take recourse to other remedy as may be permissible in law.
