All these Writ Petitions can be conveniently disposed of in terms of the Judgment and Order passed by this Court in Civil Writ Petition No.758 of 2013 and Civil Writ Petition No.759 of 2013.

It is undisputed position that the Petitioners in these Petitions are holding Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science and they have been appointed on 27^th December, 1979. Their dates of appointments have been mentioned in all these Petitions and averments to that effect have been made in these Petitions.

In our view, all these Petitions have been covered by the decision of this Court dated 30^th July, 2012 in Writ Petition No.8568 of 2011 passed by the Division Bench of this Court, which, in turn, is based on various other similar decisions of this Court. Therefore, for the reasons recorded

in the Judgment and Order dated 30^th July, 2012 in Writ Petition No.8568 of 2011, all these Petitions are disposed of in the following terms :-

(i) All these Petitions are allowed and a direction is given to the Respondents to grant to the Petitioners the revised pay scale in accordance with the Government Resolution dated 1^st October, 1988 from the date of the entitlement of the Petitioners in accordance with law.

(ii) The Petitioners have also been consequently entitled to the benefit of subsequent pay revisions based on the recommendations of the Fifth and Sixth Pay Commissions and as paid to the similarly placed persons.

All these Petitions are accordingly disposed of in the aforesaid terms.

There shall be no order as to costs.
