Petitioner submits that, while appearing

for NET examination, she realized that her date of

birth has been erroneously recorded as 28/04/1973 instead of 28/04/1978. Petitioner, however, has not disclosed the circumstances in

which error came to her notice. Support is being taken from a certificate of Date of Birth issued by

Madhya Pradesh Government. The said certificate is issued sometimes in December – 2012 and birth date has been registered on 05/12/2012. The Date of Birth is recorded as 28/04/1978. The petitioner has produced Leaving Certificate dated 30^th June, 1989 issued by Mahatma Gandhi Centennial Sindhu High School, Jaripatka, Nagpur. That certificate records her Date of Birth as 28/04/1973 and date of admission into School as 23/06/1983. It also mentions that she left school on 30/04/1989, after having failed in S.S.C. examination in March – 1989. It is obvious that if 28/04/1978 is accepted to be a correct Date of Birth, petitioner could not have appeared for S.S.C. (10^th Std.) examination through regular School in March – 1989. She had taken admission in that High School on 23^rd June, 1983 and that too obviously in 5^th standard. It therefore follows that story being pressed into service is incorrect.
