1] Petitioner before this court is a federation of labour cooperative societies challenging Govt. Resolution dated 19^th January, 2013, on the ground that it affects the entitlement of labour cooperative societies to award of work on priority basis.

2] Submission is, the new process introduced on 19.1.2013 inviting e-tenders is prejudicial to these societies.

3] Learned AGP relies on affidavit in reply to urge that labour cooperative societies are entitled to preferential grant only

if value of work does not exceed Rs. 10 Lakhs. E-tendering is prescribed for works which are above Rs. 10 Lakhs.

4] We have noted that statement made in para.4 of the affidavit in reply. However, Advocate Hon submits that labour cooperative societies are entitled to said preference for works up to Rs. 50 Lakhs. We do not see any such plea in the writ petition. Respondents have in their affidavit in reply pointed out that labour cooperative societies are still being allotted works costing up to Rs. 10 Lakhs subject to maximum allotment of Rs.50 Lakhs per society per year.

5] In view of this position, we find the grievance raised in the petition to be misconceived. Petition is accordingly disposed of. No costs.
