ORDER :
1. Advocate for petitioners, on instructions, prays
for leave to withdraw the petition with a view to file
representation to the State Election Commission, as
well as State Government, for postponement of
scheduled panchayat elections in view of natural
calamity like the drought prevailing in the area.
2. The petition is allowed to be withdrawn with
liberty to file representation as referred to herein
above. We believe that, the aforesaid authorities

would decide if such a representation is made by the
petitioner, as soon as possible.
3. Authenticated copy of this order be provided to
the parties, on request.
