Heard learned Counsel for the parties.
We find that gross salary of appellant – husband is Rs. 31,763/- and his net salary is Rs. 17,653/-. He is already paying Rs. 2000/- per month
as maintenance to the applicant-daughter. It has been pointed out to us that mother is also employed and her salary is much more. Amount spent by mother, if any,
on admission, education etc., is not specifically disclosed on record. Facts however, disclose that she

has purchased a Scooter worth Rs.57,206/- for applicant-daughter. In this situation, interest of justice will be met with by granting some hike and by directing the appellant – father to start paying the applicant-daughter maintenance @ Rs.3000/- per month from 01.04.2013.
Civil Application is, thus partly allowed and disposed of. No cost.
