. The application is filed for suspension of substantive sentence and for releasing the Appellant / Applicant on bail. Both the sides are heard. This Court has perused the record like copies of the evidence and the judgment delivered by the Additional Sessions Judge. The record shows that the Applicant was on bail during trial. He is convicted and sentenced for offences punishable under Sections 306 and 498-A of the Indian Penal Code. A copy of receipt is produced to show that the fine amount of Rs.20,000/- came to be deposited on 30th November, 2013.

2 In view of the aforesaid circumstance, this Court holds that it is not desirable to keep the Appellant / Applicant behind bars till the disposal of the appeal. Much time is likely to be required for final disposal of the appeal.

3 In the result, the application is allowed. The substantive sentence given by the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Latur in Sessions Case No.113 of 2012 is hereby suspended. The Appellant / Applicant is to be released on bail on his furnishing P.R. and S.B. of Rs.15,000/-.
