The grievance in these letter petitions is in relation to the police remand orders. According to the Petitioners, the same have been obtained by Police Officers by misleading the Magistrates concerned. As the criminal cases arising out of C.R. No.517 of 2011, M.M. 10^th Court, Andheri, C.R. No.413 of 2011, M.M. 10^th Court, Andheri, C.R. No.315 of 2011 and 330 of 2011, M.M. Court No.22, Bandra (East) and

C.R. No.171 of 2011, M.M. 32^nd Court, Bandra (East), in which police remands were obtained, are pending before the concerned Magistrates, we direct the Registry to forward these communications, which have been treated as letter petitions, to the concerned Magistrates for enquiry and for passing appropriate directions and order as may be warranted in the fact situation of the case.

The Registry to treat these petitions as disposed of in the above terms.

We hope and trust that the Magistrate / concerned Court will do the needful in the matter in right earnest.

Court expresses a word of gratitude for the able assistance given by the learned amicus curiae in these matters.
