in Court submits that petitioner would be more than content if the alternative prayer clause (ii) is granted. The alternative prayer clause is to issue direction to the respondents to grant petitioner continuity of service from 1st July, 1996 to 3rd October, 2007 without any other benefits for the limited purpose of considering his claim for pension and gratuity. This stand is taken in view of the fact that the petitioner has secured employment in Institute of Science, Mumbai with effect from 4th October, 2007.
