This Writ Petition is filed inter alia seeking implementation of the order passed by the Joint Secretary to the Government of India in Revision on 27th June, 2012. As per the aforesaid order, the petitioner was entitled to refund of the excess amount of duty paid by him. Mr. Jetly, the counsel for the respondents, states that pursuant to the order passed by this Court, the Revenue has already deposited in this court, a sum of Rs.1,00,12,438/- on 27th July, 2011 and the Revenue has no objection if the petitioners are permitted to withdraw the said amount with accrued interest, if any. Mr. Jetly further states that the balance amount, if any, payable to the petitioner in implementation of the order passed by the Joint Secretary to Government of India dated 27th June, 2012, shall be processed and paid within the period of three months from today. the Revenue made through the counsel is accepted. Accordingly, the Registrar (Judicial) is directed to refund the amount of Rs.1,00,12,438/- to the petitioner with accrued interest, if any within the period of two weeks from today. The Petition is disposed of in the above terms with no order as to costs.
