2.The petitioners submit that in identical
matter, being Writ Petition no.383 of 2012 vide order
dated 13.1.2012, the principal seat at Mumbai has

directed the respondent no.2 to accept the
petitioner'sapplicationforcastevalidity

certificate and as such, the same orders be passed by
this Court.

3.We dispose of all the Petitions with a
direction to respondent-Scrutiny Committee to accept

the petitioners' applications for caste validity
certificates, provided the petitioners submit their
applications by 21st January, 2012. However, we make
it clear that we are not providing any outer limit,
within which the respondent i.e. concerned Scrutiny
Committee should decide the claims of the
petitioners.
