the petitioner has already been granted furlough leave. In that sense nothing survived for consideration in this letterpetition. However, we wanted to reassure ourselves that the time taken for deciding the application was on account of unavoidable situation. The learned A.P.P.

has handed in chart indicating the manner in which the application made by the petitioner was processed by the concerned authorities. It is noticed that the time was consumed mainly in getting police report. The concerned police officials kept on visiting the address of surety to verify the presence of surety on the said address but it was noticed that the premises were found locked. We have noticed that the police officials had visited the same address on several occasions and eventually decided to forward the adverse police report. In the circumstances, nothing more requires to be done in this writ petition. The writ petition be treated as disposed of.
