The grievance made in this petition can be

redressed if the appropriate authority was to be
directed to decide the proposal submitted by the
respondent no.7 institution, for grant of additional
divisions in year 2000-2002 and 2007-2009 academic
years forthwith. If some decision is taken on the

said proposals one way or the other, the other
consequential directions will have to be issued by

the appropriate authority. In the circumstances, we

dispose of this petition with direction to the

appropriate authority to decide the proposals not
later than 31st March 2012 and communicate the decision
to the management as well as the petitioner within the
same time. If the said decision is adverse to the
institution it will be open to the aggrieved persons
to carry the matter further before appropriate forum;
and in those, proceedings all issues will have to be
decided in accordance with law..
