By this petition, the petitioner prays for his

premature release on the ground that he has completed fourteen years of imprisonment.

¶13

It appears that the petitioner stands convicted in Court Martial proceedings and has been sentenced to life imprisonment.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor has tendered before us a communication addressed by the Superintendent, Morshi Open Prison, District

Amravati, informing the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that the petitioner has been released on 27^th September, 2012 pursuant to the order passed by the Brigadier, Commander Headquarter 787 (Independent) Air Defence Brigade, dated 22^nd September, 2012.

In that light of the matter, therefore, this petition has been rendered infructuous and is accordingly dismissed as such.

We, however, quantify fee payable to the learned Counsel appointed for the petitioner at Rs. 1,500/- (Rupees One Thousand and Five Hundred only).
