The learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions states that the total outstanding dues of the electricity charges of the petitioner company were about Rupees Two Crores and Ten lacs, out of which the petitioner has paid 50% thereof on 21.3.2012. It is further submitted that in view of the 50% payment of the outstanding dues by the petitioner to the respondents, the time was granted to the petitioner till 25.3.2012 to pay the remaining

Counsel for the petitioner, in the circumstances states that permission to withdraw the present writ petition may be granted with liberty to file an appeal under Section 127 of the Electricity Act 2003 before the appellate authority and the parties may be directed to maintain status quo as on today for a period of two weeks.
