Heard Shri Sonak, learned Counsel appearing for the Applicants, Shri Noorani, learned Addl. Government Advocate appearing for the Respondent nos. 1 and 2, Shri Amey Kakodkar, learned Addl. Government Advocate appearing for the Respondent no. 3 and Shri Aires Rodrigues, learned Counsel, appearing in person.

This is an application to amend the Petition and to incorporate therein some additional grounds as referred to in the schedule attached to the said application.

During the course of the hearing of the above application, learned

Counsel appearing for the Respondents as well as Shri Rodrigues, appearing in person, pointed out that they have no objection in case leave is granted to the Applicants/Petitioners to amend the Petition.

In the facts and circumstances of the case and taking note of the nature of amendment sought, we find no reason to refuse leave to the Applicants/Petitioners to amend the Petition. Hence, leave is granted to the Applicants/Petitioners to amend the Petition as proposed in the schedule attached to the said application. Amendment to be carried out within one week. Respondents to file reply if any, within one week thereafter.
