This Civil Application is moved by the petitioners for final disposal of the petition.
With consent of learned Counsel for the parties, the petition is taken up for final hearing today.
The petitioners are suffering from colour blindness, which is treated as disqualification for employment. By way of this petition, the petitioners have challenged the communication dated

29.10.2008 issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs as well as Standing Order 4/08 issued by the office of DIGP, Group Centre, CRPF whereby services of the petitioners have been terminated on the ground of colour blindness.
Shri Bangde, learned Counsel for the respondents, states that the Government has reviewed its decision and now it is decided to continue the petitioners in service subject to some conditions. The said order has been placed on record. It is submitted that since respondents have taken the said decision, the grievance of the petitioners does not survive and the petition has become infructuous.
Since now decision has been taken by the respondents to continue the petitioners in service, nothing survives in the petition. In view of the same, the petition is disposed of as infructuous. Liberty is granted to the petitioners to approach this Court again in case any difficulty arises or any contradictory decision is taken by the respondents in future.
