This application is filed for grant of stay to the effect and operation of the order dated 10/3/2010 passed in L.A.C.No.220/2007.

Perused the application and record. Appeal is admitted vide Hon’ble C ourt’s order dated 28.8.2012. The Advocate for the appellant submitted that the applicant may be allowed to deposit 50% of the amount of award. But in fact there is not much difference in the amount of compensation granted by the LAO and by the Reference Court. Therefore, appellant/applicant should deposit entire amount.

In this view of the matter, the execution of the impugned judgment and award dated 10.3.2010 is stayed during the pendency of appeal, on the condition that the appellant deposits entire amount under the award in the Reference Court, within a period of ten weeks. The copy of receipt to that effect be produced before this Court.

The application stands disposed of accordingly.
