This is an application for anticipatory bail by a young man, who found nothing wrong in keeping an evil eye over neighbour's wife, harassing her and ultimately making her commit suicide. Learned counsel for the applicant submits that the report of the Investigating Officer submitted at the time of consideration of bail application to the learned Sessions Court, shows that the victim first stated that when she was igniting the candle stick, some oil fell on the floor, a match stick fell on the floor and then she caught fire. Learned counsel for the applicant overlooks a fact that the report itself shows that such statement was made by the victim in order to avoid her husband being harassed. She has specifically stated in the

suicide note that she has also made oral dying declaration to her mother. The report also shows that even neighbours had tried to reason with the applicant, but to no avail. No case for grant of anticipatory bail is made out. Application is rejected.
