ORAL JUDGMENT [per HARDAS, J.]:

Commissioner of Police would ensure that the investigation is proceeding in right direction and in the right earnest.
2. In the light of the order passed by the Division Bench of this Court, we issue Rule making it returnable forthwith and with the consent of the counsel, hear it finally at this stage.

This petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India prays for issuance of a writ transferring the matter to any Specialized Investigating Agency i.e Crime Branch or Economic Offences Wing and also prays for directing the Investigating Officer to speed up the process of investigation as the petitioner is weak and is aged about 73 years of age.
