appearing for respondent no.1, on written instructions, copy of which is placed on record and marked as ‘X` for identification, makes a statement that respondent no.1 will appoint the petitioner on the post of Artisan Grade-C within a period of two weeks from today. His statement is recorded and accepted. In view thereof, nothing further survives in the writ petition. Hence, the

petition is disposed of as infructuous.
It is needless to mention that the petitioner shall submit his caste validity certificate within the time prescribed from the date of his appointment. If for any reason, the validity certificate is not issued by the scrutiny committee, the petitioner may apply to respondent no.1 for seeking extension of time to produce the caste validity certificate. If such an application is made, respondent no.1 to pass appropriate order and communicate the same to the petitioner. It is also open to the petitioner to produce copy of this order before the scrutiny committee for seeking expeditious hearing of his caste claim.
With these observations, the petition is disposed of.
