1.This is a letter petition.

¶14

2.The petitioner is at present undergoing
imprisonment upon his conviction in Open Jail at
Morshi, in Amravati District. He claims that his
family members are from Pendharpal (Thakurwadi)
Post Ghotwada, Tah. Sudhagadpasi, District Raigad,
and it is becoming impossible for his relatives to
come and meet him at Morshi and it would be
appropriate if he is transferred to Open
Jail, Paithan.

3.The petition does not disclose that any
application for same relief was made by the
petitioner to higher authorities.

4.We consider it appropriate to refer the

said request to the Director General of Prisons,
Pune for treating this petition as representation
and take decision according to law and communicate
the same to the petitioner within 3 months.

5.Learned APP is directed to communicate

this order to the Director General of Prisons, Pune

and for this purpose, steno copy of this order be
supplied to the learned APP.

6.Copy of this order be sent to Open Jail,
Morshi who will interpret the order to the
