1This is an application made by the four

applicants for grant of anticipatory bail. The
alleged offence is under Section 498A,504,506, 323
read with 34 of the I.P.C. I have perused the
F.I.R. The F.I.R. alleges harassment against the

husband during the period from 29.4.2007 to
30.1.2010. On reading the F.I.R. the allegations
against the applicant Nos. 3 and 4 pertain to an

earlier period of the marriage and it is contended
that during this period they disposed of ring of ½
tola . The F.I.R. itself narrates that thereafter
she and her husband started residing separately and
her husband used to beat her in a drunken

condition. There is no specific date mentioned in
the F.I.R. and the allegations are general in
nature. In my view, investigation can be done

without arrest of the applicants. In the

¶16

circumstances, application is allowed. It is
directed that on their arrest the applicants may be
released on bail in the sum of Rs.10000/- each with

one surety each in the like amount subject to the
condition that they will report to the Ozar Police
Station on 22.3.2010 and 23.3.2010 from 11.00a.m.
to 5.00p.m. and thereafter as and when called upon
to appear by the Investigating Officer in writing
and subject to further condition that they will not

tamper with the witnesses and the evidence. It is
made clear that observations made in this order
will not be used at the stage of trial. Application
