actually received the possession of the land admeasuring 80 Ares on 17.12.1990. The petitioner received the notice from the District Resettlement Officer informing the petitioner that he would be entitled to get possession of the land and the petitioner was asked to deposit the amount towards the said amount. The petitioner accordingly deposit the amount on 4.4.1991 with the Office of the Resettlement Officer, Chaskaman Project. The receipt shows the amount of Rs. 20,031/-. The petitioner however was given only 80 Ares out of the allotment of 1 Hectare 20 Ares. As till date the petitioner has not been given possession of the balance land, the present petition.
Rule made absolute accordingly. No order as to costs.
