Pakale Anil Murlidhar and Ors. Vs the State of Maharashtra and Anr.

1 Learned Counsel for the petitioners states that so far as prayer clause (a) is concerned, the petitiners' grievance is redressed. Hence to that extent the petition does not survive and therefore, the petitioners have requested him to withdraw the petition with a liberty to make representation to respondent No.2 as regards prayer clause (b).

2 In the circumstances the petition is allowed to be withdrawn with liberty as prayed i.e. so far as prayer clause (b) is concerned, it will be open to the petitioners to make a representation to the 2nd respondent. If such a representation is made, the 2nd respondent shall consider it independently

and in accordance with law and communicate the result thereof to the petitioner.

3 The petition is disposed of as withdrawn.
