Pursuant to the affidavit in reply filed on behalf of the respondents, Shri G.K. Thigale, learned Counsel for the petitioner states on instructions that the petitioner undertakes to abide by the decision of the Supreme Court in the pending Special Leave Petition, which has raised a question in respect of the dues to be paid by the subsequent purchaser for the liability incurred by the previous owner/occupier. We are further informed by Shri Thigale, learned Counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has already submitted an undertaking in this behalf to the respondents. Shri S.M. Godsay, learned Counsel for respondents no.2 to 4 states on instructions that in the light of the furnishing of the undertaking and the statement made by the learned Counsel for the petitioner, the respondents would provide the electricity connection to the petitioner. that light of the statement, Shri Thigale, learned Counsel for the petitioner seeks to withdraw the petition. Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn by accepting the statement made on behalf of respondents no.2 to 4. We further record that the electricity connection should be supplied as expeditiously as possible. No order as to costs.
