The petitioner in this Writ Petition is seeking directions to the respondents to gazette the names of the elected members as per the provisions of the Bombay Primary Education Act. The petition appears to have been filed on 18^th February, 2009. The petition is pending in this Court for a period of eight months. During this period, the petitioner did not take any steps to get the matter circulated.

By this time it appears that the names of the elected members might have been published in the official gazette. However, for want of material on record, no positive view in this behalf can be taken. In the circumstances, the Writ Petition is dismissed for want of prosecution.

In the event the petitioner decides to move this Court for restoration, it would be obligatory on the part of the petitioner to place on record the factual current prevailing situation so as to enable the Court to take proper view of the matter.
