 1. Case of the petitioners in all these cases is that

 they were displaced persons because of the project in 1988

¶11

 and their lands have been acquired. Substitute lands are
 not provided to them till date. The learned counsel for
 the Respondents has filed counter affidavit and it is
 stated in the counter affidavit that the respondents have
 initiated enquiry to come to conclusion that the
 petitioners were displaced and were entitled to

 rehabilitation by allotment of land and the petitioners
 have been called on different dates.

 2. In this view of the matter, these writ petitions
 can be disposed off by directing respondents to complete
 enquiry before 31st December, 2008. If the petitioners are
 found to be entitled, suitable order shall be passed.
 Petitions stand disposed off accordingly.
