 1. Counsel appearing for the respondent submits

 that the application for inserting the name of the
 petitioner in city survey records under Section 247
 of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code is pending
 before the Department for non-compliance of the
 requirements pointed out by the Department. It is
 stated that the petitioner was called upon to
 furnish certain information, which has not been
 complied with by the petitioner.

 2. Let the petitioner comply with all the
 requirements demanded by the Department within four
 weeks from today and the Respondents shall dispose
 of the application within six weeks thereafter and
 communicate the order so passed to the petitioner.

 The petitioner is at liberty to challenge the order

 so passed in accordance with law.

 3. The respondents shall abide by their

 statement.

 4. The writ petition is disposed of in above
