The application of the petitioner for grant of leave on furlough has been rejected on the ground that when earlier he was granted leave, he overstayed for 30 days. This happened in October, 2006. In this view, we do not feel that the order of the respondents can be interfered with. However, the petitioner overstayed almost two years back. Therefore, if an application for furlough leave is made, the respondent may consider that application sympathetically, and pass

appropriate orders. This petition is accordingly disposed of.
