dated 29/4/2008, the applicant was released on parole for the
purpose of treatment. Thereafter, he surrendered to the prison.
Certificates issued by Prince Aly Khan Hospital dated 26/6/2008,

12/7/2008 and 4/8/2008 are annexed to the application. Certificate
dated 4/8/2008 indicates that the hospital had to postpone chemotherapy of the applicant because he had some infection. Certificate dated 12/7/2008 states that after the sixth cycle of chemotherapy, the applicant will require about three months' time for recuperation. In the circumstances, we are of the opinion that
the applicant must be released on parole for a period of three
months. Hence, we pass the following order:
2. The applicant – Bankim Rasiklal Shah is directed to be
released on parole for three months. He should furnish his address to the Narcotics Control Bureau, Ahmedabad and Narcotics Control Bureau, Mumbai. The applicant shall surrender to the prison after three months from the date of his release.
3. Criminal application is disposed of.
