1. Heard. The Petitioner had surrendered late by
1552 days, hence prison punishment came to be
imposed on the prisoner and his name was removed
from the book of prisoners entitled to remission.
The Petitioner is seeking cancellation of the said
prison punishment. It is seen that Petitioner had
earlier preferred Criminal Writ Petition No.176 of
2006 in which the very same prayer was made by the

Petitioner. By order dated 13th July, 2006, the
said petition came to be dismissed. In this view
of the matter, the present petition cannot be
entertained and is disposed of as such.
