Shivaji Abhiman Raundal Vs Nandkumar Madhukar Sonawane and Ors.

The petitioner takes exception to an order passed by the Minister for Cooperation granting stay to the order challenged in revision pending on his file. Revision challenges the orders dated 3.7.06 and 15.2.07 passed by the Assistant Registrar and the Divisional Joint Registrar respectively. The matter was fixed for hearing on 18.9.07 but the hearing has yet not taken place. I do not propose to interfere with the interlocutory order granting stay in pending revision. However I am of the view that the expeditious disposal of the revision would advance the cause of justice. Learned additional government pleader submits that if so directed the Minister will decide the revision on merit after hearing the parties concerned within a period of eight weeks from today. Hence I direct the respondent No.4 to decide the revision filed by the respondent No.1 and pending on the file of respondent No.4 within a period of eight weeks from today after granting reasonable opportunity of hearing to all the parties. Rule made absolute in above terms. 16.10.07
