. We have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner
and the learned counsel for the respondents.
2. Respondent 2, i.e. the complainant Randhirsingh
Chouhan is present in the court. The learned counsel for
respondent 2 on instruction from respondent 2 states that
respondent 2 does not want to press the complaint against
Prerna Verma. This statement is recorded and accepted by
the Court.
3. Mr. Borulkar, the learned Public Prosecutor on
instructions from Mr. V. B. Mahindrakar, PSI, Yerawda
Police Station, Pune, states that in view of this
statement the police will take appropriate steps in

accordance with law. Mr. Borulkar further on
instructions from Mr. V. B. Mahindrakar, PSI, Yerawda
Police Station, Pune, states that the police does not
want custody of the three accused i.e. the petitioners
and their son Vikas Kumar Verma for the purpose of
investigation. This statement is also recorded and
accepted by us.
4. In view of this statement, the learned counsel for
the petitioners seeks permission to withdraw the
petition. Petition is allowed to be withdrawn. Needless
to say, if the petitioners so desire they will be at
liberty to file appropriate proceeding, if charge-sheet
is filed, for appropriate reliefs. All contentions of
both sides are kept open.
5. We make it clear that we have not expressed any
opinion on the merits of the case.
6. The accused shall co-operate with the investigating
agency.
7. The petition is disposed of as withdrawn.
8. In view of the disposal of the petition all criminal
applications are disposed of as infructuous.
