It is not in dispute before us that against the order dated 15th September, 2006, the petitioner had filed an appeal before the appropriate authority. However, according to the petitioner, the said appeal has not been taken up for hearing and appropriate orders have not been passed. This fact is not admitted by the respondent. We find it unnecessary to go into the controversy raised in the writ petition. The writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to move the appropriate authority for expeditious disposal of the appeal or passing of such orders as may be necessary in accordance with law. No order as to costs.
