Learned counsel appearing for the parties fairly state that
the controversy raised in the present writ petition is squarely covered by the two Division Bench judgments of this Court in the cases of (i) Maharashtra Suraksha Rakshak Aghadi vs. The Security Guards Board for Greater Bombay and others (Original Side Writ Petition No. 563 of 2007 and others), decided on 21st June, 2007 and (ii) Maharashtra Rajya Suraksha Rakshak & General Kamgar Union vs. Pune District Security Guards Board and others (Appellate Side Writ Petition No. 1972

of 2005 and others) decided on 27th September, 2007. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of in terms thereof. The parties would take steps and the Board would act according to the directions contained in both the judgments. We further make it clear that the period prescribed under those orders shall commence from today.
