 2. The petition can be disposed of at the
 stage of admission itself.

 3. The petitioner has come to this court with
 a grievance that his application for change of
 registered address of the firm has been rejected by
 the Registrar of Firms without giving him an

 opportunity of hearing.

¶18

 4. On the other hand, the learned G.P.states
 that the impugned order itself shows that inspite
 of the firm being given a chance of personal
 hearing on two dates, none appeared and therefore,
 the impugned order came to be passed.

 5. It is further submitted that in accordance
 with the rules and procedure, a penalty of
 Rs.60,740/- has been levied for the delay caused in
 seeking the proposed changes.

 6. The learned G.P. after seeking instruction
 states that incase the petitioner wants to be heard
 in the matter, the Registrar of Firms will give him
 one more opportunity of being heard and re-consider
 the impugned order accordingly.

 7. In view of the statement, the relief sought
 for by the petitioner does not survive. The
 petitioner firm may appear before the Registrar of
 Firms through one of his partner or authorised
 representative and get the date of hearing fixed by

 prior appointment. On such date being fixed, the
 Registrar of Firms would hear the petitioner and
 take a decision in the matter within two weeks
 thereafter. The petition stands disposed of
 accordingly with no order as to costs.
