1. Heard the learned Counsel for the parties.
2. The grievance made in this Petition is
that various sub-ways and footover bridges which
were to be constructed below the Western Express
Highway and the Eastern Express Highway ought to
be completed within the time provided for. An
order was passed by another Division Bench on 19th
July 2006. That order recorded the time schedule
for the various sub-ways concerned. As far as
that time schedule goes, two of the sub-ways i.e.
one at Vakola (Santacruz) and other at Vanrai

(Goregaon) were to be completed on 31st December
2006. They have been completed accordingly. The
other sub-ways and footover bridges are to be
completed by May / December 2007. In view of the
adherence to the time schedule by respondent No.6,
we hope that they will similarly complete the
other sub-ways and footover bridges within the
time provided for. There is no need to keep this
Petition alive any further. If there is any
difficulty in any manner, the petitioners may make
necessary application at that stage.
3. Petition stands disposed of.
