1. Mr.Konde-Deshmukh, the learned APP states that
the necessary action will be taken for taking the
possession of the articles which have been referred
to in the letter dated 5th July, 2007 by the
Advocate Ms.Shubhada D.Khot addressed to Senior
Inspector of Police, copy of which is to be found
as Exhibit-O to the petition, within 48 hours. The
learned APP also states that as regards reporting
by Shri.Pradeep Gajanan Shirsolkar who is under
suspension, necessary arrangements will be made to
avoid his presence in the Police Station and
offices of the Police Department within the

territory of New Bombay as expeditiously as
possible within one week. We expect both the above
statements and consequently, nothing further
survives in the petition. On the request of the
learned counsel for the petitioner, petition is
allowed to be withdrawn leaving all the issues
open. We make it clear that we have not expressed
any opinion on any of the contentions sought to be
raised in this petition and with liberty to the
petitioner to approach the Court as and when need
arises, petition accordingly stands disposed of.
