 . We do not find any reason to grant stay to the
 impugned judgment and decree passed by the Family
 Court. The appellant is granted time to deposit the
 amount awarded by the Family Court towards return of
 Stridhan which was in the form of cash which has been
 computed at Rs. 3 lacs and a sum of Rs. 10 lacs
 lumpsum towards permanent alimony to the respondent.

 The amount to be deposited on or before 31st December,
 2007 in this Court. On the appellant depositing the
 amount the same be invested in term deposit with any
 nationalised bank in the maiden name of the respondent
 initially for a period of 37 months to be renewed from
 time to time until further orders with the condition
 that the respondent will be entitled to withdraw
 monthly interest on such term deposit for her
 utilisation.

 2. The parties are at liberty to move this Court
 in case they arrive at an amicable settlement.

 3. On compliance of this order, there will be stay
 in terms of prayer clause (a).

 4. The civil application stands disposed of
