 1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner i.e.
 original accused, learned A.P.P. for the State and
 learned counsel for Respondent No.2 i.e. original
 complainant.

 2. The petitioner is seeking quashing of C.R.No.
 93 of 2004. The said C.R. pertains to Economic
 Wing, Mumbai. The learned counsel for the
 petitioner and Respondent-original complainant
 state that the dispute between the complainant and

 present petitioner has been settled. The learned

 counsel for the complainant stated that the
 complainant has no objection to the complaint being
 quashed. An affidavit to the said effect is also
 filed by the complainant.

 3. In view of the fact that the parties have

 settled the disputes, in our view, no purpose would
 be served by continuing with the proceedings
 relating to C.R. No.93 of 2004. Hence, in view of

 the decision of the Supreme Court in the case of

B.S.Joshi and another Vs. State of Haryana and

¶21

another reported in Judgment Today 2003(3) S.C.
277, C.R.No. 93 of 2004 of GBCB CID, EOW, Mumbai

 and the proceedings relating thereto, are quashed

 and set aside.
